He's tasked with protecting the mines from intruders
so a Cat whose mechanic arm decided to steal some minerals for a mission caused the boombox cat to chase them
Allthought boombox cat was reprogrammed to patrol the mines since normally his main function would had been producing music... don't ask why bc idk either.
